Code of Conduct for TB Conference at Tagore Medical College (March 28th-29th)

This Code of Conduct outlines expectations for all attendees at the TB Conference at Tagore Medical College on March 28th and 29th. We are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and productive environment for all participants. By attending this conference, you agree to adhere to this Code of Conduct.

Respect and Inclusivity:

Presentations and Discussions:

  • Professional Conduct: Present information in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Cite sources appropriately and avoid plagiarism.
  • Respectful Dialogue: During Q&A sessions, ask concise and respectful questions. Avoid interrupting speakers or making lengthy statements.
  • Time Management: Speakers are expected to adhere to the allocated time for their presentations.
  • Appropriate Content: Presentation content should be relevant to the conference theme and free from offensive or discriminatory material.

General Conduct:

  • Punctuality: Arrive on time for sessions and events.
  • Mobile Devices: Silence or turn off mobile devices during presentations and sessions to avoid disruptions.
  • Photography and Recording: Obtain permission before taking photographs or recording presentations. Be mindful of privacy concerns.
  • Confidentiality: Respect the confidentiality of any information shared during the conference that is designated as confidential.
  • Adherence to Rules: Follow the instructions of conference organizers and staff.
  • Responsible Social Media Use: When posting about the conference on social media, be respectful and avoid sharing confidential information or personal opinions that could be harmful to others. Use the conference hashtag (if applicable).

Enforcement:

  • Reporting: If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to a member of the conference organizing committee. All reports will be treated with confidentiality.
  • Consequences: The conference organizers reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of this Code of Conduct, including but not limited to:
    • Verbal warning
    • Removal from the conference without refund
    • Exclusion from future conferences
